When your ego is tied to your stock price, the highs & lows of your work will drive you insane. I’ve seen many budding entrepreneurs starting a business because “I want to work for myself,” or “I don’t want to work for anyone,” etc. When the motivation is about you and your life alone, it’s unsustainable. If it’s about helping others you care about or family, then of course that’s still selfless."
