Ep 153. How to remove a creativity block in 3 steps

Do you ever get stuck in a creative rut and can't seem to get something done? This week on Motivation and Confidence, we'll give you three tips on how to unleash your creative potential.

How to remove creativity blocks in three steps.

Step One: Find an inspirational thought or quote you can use as a mantra. This could be a call to action, a short excerpt from your favorite book, or even something from the Dalai Lama.

Step Two: Take a break. Get up and go for a walk, eat lunch with friends, or watch that documentary on Netflix you’ve been wanting to check out.

Step Three: Before you say anything in your creative space (or wherever you choose to work), repeat the mantra three times. This sets the tone of your session and will help clear the cobwebs from your mind so you can concentrate.

This is one of my favorite techniques because it really does work. It’s easy to learn, takes a few seconds out of your day, and doesn’t require anything extra from you besides repeating a phrase a few times.
